…after organising the digital clutter and making all the overlaying decisions...
I really liked learning about InDesign automation and I was surprised by how much time a DataMerge tool can actually save, especially when creating repetitive designs like this one. And even though the DataMerge process looks very complicated, somehow I managed to make it function successfully from the first try.
After organising the digital clutter and making all the overlaying decisions, I finally finished the Short & Tweet booklet.
I decided to print this little book out what was quite difficult and expensive to do, probably because there were over 90 pages to print. I left my booklet at the printing bureau overnight as it was taking too long and stopping other people's printing. At one point, I started to think that maybe it wasn't worth it to print so many quite similar pages, but after all, there's no better feeling than holding a freshly printed book in your hands and knowing that you designed it from cover to cover.

I really liked the concept of this brief in general and actually enjoyed doing it. It was fun to look for the tweets and I learnt so many extremely useful things which I will definitely use in future projects.
