this is how my brain works
just a little bit of text

and way too many pictures

design is the relationship

between text and image

fresh ink

...the smell of fresh ink and the warmth of a paper straight out of the printer...

It was so interesting to finally get to know the mysterious photocopy machines, especially the risograph printer, and found out that it’s actually not so complexed and much simpler than I thought. Also, I really like the risograph’s ecological attitude as it uses way less energy, the ink used for printing is made from different grain brans and empty ink bottles can be recycled.

I really liked the process and the outcomes as well. It was interesting to see how using the same materials and even the colours we managed to create something different and unique incorporating our style.

The concept of true authenticity that wouldn't be achieved using, for example, Photoshop layers.

layers textures overlays ink paper

This photocopying practice encouraged me to experiment a little bit with the image overlay using raw photography.
